One Take, Not Revised

(…a throwback).

Seeing as today is what we can call flashback Friday (yea, I had to make it work for me), I thought I could dig into the archives once again for a blast from the past. I wrote and published this in my private blog sometime in 2014 and it was done in one take. I tried to describe the reasoning behind the blogs I had written up until that point. Have a read and see if I did or not:

One of the joys of a parent is seeing their child develop rapidly from the infant who does little but cry, not being able to express himself further, to a toddler who asks questions a lot. It shows that such kid is inquisitive and and curious to find out why things are the way they are. The parent often gets tired of the questions, either because they become too repetitive or because they have no real answers. At times it is because the parent does not have the answer.
Being the recluse that I sometimes am, I spend a lot of time pondering various things. These have brought up questions that I have tried to find reasoning(s) to. I can't begin to outline all the questions but I can talk about one. It has to do with how I find what I blog about.
How do I do it? How do I find a topic and how do I fill pages with ideas? In reality, everything is more freelanced than rehearsed. I credit it to a brain that never stops working; one that overthinks things. It could start with a word during the day; if I'm lucky it'll be a statement. I try to develop those into an idea that could be understood, then a sub-idea might pop in again and I have to find a place where it'll fit within the theme that I'm working on.
It is difficult to pinpoint what makes the best of my blogs so far. Some are a result of prolonged pondering over ideas while others are just one-take outpouring of spontaneous thoughts. If that says anything at all, it'll attest to the fact that I, like many or few, am quite uneasy to describe. I could be very difficult to understand while at the same time be the easiest person to relate with. Now, where am I going with his blog? I'm not exactly sure. This is just one of those ideas that spring up. Maybe it should have been my first blog.

I’m pretty sure I’ve talked about something like this either in a past blog or podcast. Safe to say that the thought process behind my contents has been an age long question to me. This was one of those very random thoughts that came to mind and I felt like putting it down on a page. i pray for inspiration to come up with something more thought-provoking next week.

Until then, stay safe and healthy.
